Crystal River Main Street, Inc. was organized to preserve, maintain, and improve the historic downtown district of Crystal River, Florida. It is Main Street’s goal to educate the general public about the historic significance of the district’s architecture, history and culture. Crystal River Main Street will promote the historic preservation and use of the traditional downtown area, which includes the Community Redevelopment Area (CRA). There will be a special focus on the architectural and cultural role the area plays as the center of civic and social life in the community.
